INDIGO 2.0 project proposal submitted

Posted on 14 Jan at 18:35

The Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) announced the second Heritage Science Austria project call in November 2024. Since INDIGO was funded via the first Heritage Science Austria project call, a prolongation of our project was submitted for this new call.

To make our intention of continuing INDIGO’s mission clear, the new project was denoted INDIGO 2.0. In March 2025, we will know if we are through to the second round of this call.
Fingers crossed!

Summary

Graffiti is unique, short-lived heritage balancing between tangible and intangible, offensive and pleasant. Graffiti makes people laugh, wonder, angry, think.

The two-year INDIGO project aims to build the basis to systematically document, monitor, and analyse circa 13 km of graffiti along Vienna’s Danube Canal in the next decade.
