Nina Richards

osteoarchaeologist | digital humanities

MA BSc Nina Richards (nee Brundke) is an osteoarchaeologist from Germany. She studied Medieval Archaeology in Bamberg as well as Biology with a main focus on physical anthropology at the University of Vienna. She is currently employed at the Austrian Archaeological Institute as well as the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage of the Austrian Academy of Sciences where she is involved in the THANADOS and OpenAtlas project. She has a special interest in data modeling and the application of digital methods in the field of archaeology and anthropological research.

Within INDIGO she will be involved in the conception and implementation of new features as well as the general development of OpenAtlas.
